About Me

Catherine MacLeay: Freeport, Grand Bahama, Bahamas; I was born in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada July 10, 1960. This fact alone makes me a natural for my adopted country, July 10th is Bahamian Independence Day! Shortly after graduating from university I packed my bags for The Bahamas. I arrived in 1988 to teach for the Bahamian government. After spending 13 years in the teaching profession, I decided to expand my horizons and jumped into the exciting world of real estate. I joined James Sarles Realty in 2001 (now Coldwell Banker James Sarles Realty) as his first agent. I am committed to helping my clients locate the most appropriate property to suit their needs & desires. I am particularly mindful of how newcomers to The Bahamas feel- being in a new county with different customs and attitudes.
